The MacGyvers' Union was dreamed up by our MacGyver Prime as a place that people inclined to be fixers and tinkerers and makers could meet to share stories, ideas, and tools. A series of conversations and planning sessions in early 2014 brought the idea to life.

We're looking forward to welcoming all MacGyvers behind our duct tape rope into the MGU lounge on playa this year, and providing space for like-minded people to meet and hide from their campmates who really just need one more piece of rebar pounded in, really. Just one.

In addition to the lounge space, we'll have some basic tools for communal use and various spare parts, such as duct tape, paper clips, ball bungies, and paracord, for member use.
